Man stabbed after row with neighbour

A father was stabbed to death in front of his wife by a woman neighbour after a row got out of control.

The 37-year-old father of two, who has not been named, died from a single stab wound to the chest from a carving knife shortly after he was attacked on the doorstep of his home in Croftleigh Avenue, Purley last night.

Detectives are questioning a suspect today.
