'Most wanted man' is arrested in Holland

A suspected drug lord accused of smuggling heroin worth tens of millions of pounds into Britain has been arrested in Holland, police said today.

Mark Brown, 44, was held at a petrol station on the outskirts of Amsterdam in an operation involving local police and the Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca).

The Liverpudlian had been named by Crimestoppers as one of Britain's most wanted men and he was thought to be hiding in Spain.
