Music lovers fall for fake headphones

Consumers are increasingly being targeted by firms selling counterfeit headphones.

Retailers are now taking action to warn customers. Robin London-Willis of Hi-Fi Headphones said major brands were being faked, such as Beats, set up by rap artist Dr Dre, and Sennheiser, adding: "It's very simple to avoid them. They trap people with low prices."

In an email to sellers, Amazon said it was limiting the number of people who can sell the most popular brands on its UK site.
