Nicole's bobby dazzler

For Nicole Kidman, her latest film role couldn’t be more different from reality.

In the movie, she sports an unfamiliar auburn bob and loves doing the cleaning and laundry and cooking gourmet meals for her husband.

In real life, she is famous for her long strawberry blonde hair and, after splitting from Tom Cruise, is now said to be dating wildman rock star Lenny Kravitz.

The 36-year-old Australian actress has adopted her new look — with the aid of a wig — and home-loving habits for a remake of the 1975 movie The Stepford Wives.

‘She looked very different with the new look, but still retained that star quality,’ said one onlooker who saw her on set with co-stars Glenn Close and Christopher Walken.

The film tells the story of a small American suburb of Stepford, Connecticut, where women happily go about their housework to please their husbands.

However, two women new to the area soon discover that the obedient wives have been replaced by robots.

Miss Kidman stars as Joanna Eberhart, the role played in the original by Katharine Ross.
