Now TV Book Club picks debut novel

An NHS audiologist whose debut novel was snapped up by Sir Ridley Scott to be made into a film, is now set to become a book club hit.

Before I Go to Sleep by SJ Watson, 40, of Shoreditch, has been chosen for The TV Book Club on More4 and for the eight-strong book list promoted through WH Smith by TV presenters Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.

Watson said: "It has surpassed even my wildest expectations, really."
