Pension victims 'paid by year-end'

THE Financial Services Authority should finish its review of the pensions misselling scandal by end-June. Some 84% of younger customers' cases have been completed. Older customers were dealt with earlier.

The FSA said 'the vast majority' of 1m claimants should receive compensation by the end of this year. More than £9bn has been offered. The FSA has disciplined 345 firms, resulting in £9.5m fines.
