Police find George Michael missing and house empty

Police were called to George Michael's house in Highgate after the singer apparently walked out of the house leaving the door ajar.

A 999 call from a neighbour alerted police late on Monday night that the door to his £5 million property was open.

The 46-year-old singer, who recently boasted he had reduced his daily cannabis consumption to "seven or eight spliffs", was eventually tracked down by police to a nearby property.
