The gang shouted "Got 'em" as they carried out their attack. One teenager posted the attack on YouTube.

At least one officer was seen racing to the vehicle and quickly closing the door before the two-minute barrage began.

Hundreds of snowballs were thrown before the policemen fled the country park in Crawley with their blue flashing lights. As the patrol car - marked Crawley Borough - left the car park, the youths continued to pelt the side windows and windscreen. The attack had last night been viewed 238 times on YouTube.
