Police sift child porn seizures

12 April 2012

Police are today sifting through suspected child pornography seized in a series of raids across the country.

A total of 36 suspected internet paedophiles were arrested in the operation, codenamed Ore, yesterday which targeted computer users accessing payperview websites based in America. The sites were selling horrific images of sexual abuse of children as young as five.

The ages of those arrested ranged from 24 to 65. The websites acted as a shop window to other sites.
