£15m profits drop 'good start' at RSA

ROYAL & SunAlliance chief executive Andy Haste insisted the insurance giant had made a 'good start' in its recovery push today despite operating profits dropping £15m to £95m over the first three months of the year. RSA is cutting thousands of staff and selling non-core businesses after a torrid 2002.
