Doctor Who star Matt Smith is transformed from Time Lord to knife-wielding hard-case in new musical thriller American Psycho.
The actor is rehearsing for the star role as psychopathic yuppie Patrick Bateman just after filming his final scenes as the Doctor.

The musical, directed by Rupert Goold and co-starring Cassandra Compton, will premiere at the Almeida Theatre, Islington, in December.
