All change: Gareth Ainsworth expects QPR manager Luigi de Canio to make signings during the January transfer window
12 April 2012

Gareth Ainsworth expects new QPR manager Luigi de Canio to wheel and deal next month to lift the club out of the Championship mire.

De Canio has overseen just one victory, in his first match in charge, since he has been at the helm and Rangers visit Burnley tonight in bottom place.

"I definitely expect new players to come in," admitted midfielder Ainsworth. "Anyone in this league with money will spend in January. You have injuries, suspensions and players out of form and we are no different so we are going to wheel and deal."

De Canio, rumoured to have a £5million transfer kitty, has been linked with Sunderland striker Daryl Murphy, Birmingham defender Martin Taylor and Watford midfielder Gavin Mahon.

Martin Rowlands (suspension) is out tonight and Michael Mancienne (hamstring) is doubtful. Dexter Blackstock is available.
