Reuters faces rebellion over leak

REUTERS chief Tom Glocer faces a revolt from reporters over leaked retail figures last month. The National Union of Journalists is demanding disciplinary charges be dropped against the reporter who revealed the data.

'The company should have stood by its story in the face of inquiries from the regulator,' says an internal Reuters memo. The leak triggered an inquiry at the National Statistics office.
