Richard and Judy pen their tale

12 April 2012

Daytime television's Richard and Judy today revealed they are penning a joint autobiography.

The couple, who after years of presenting Good Morning on ITV switched last year to a teatime slot on Channel Four, are writing alternate chapters. It is not known when the book will be published or even if they are signed to a publisher.

Speaking on their show, the pair revealed that the book was being written during an interview with the author of Billy Connolly's biography, his wife Pamela Stephenson.

Questioning Ms Stephenson about the experience of writing a book about her husband, they referred to the book they are writing.

Judy said: "We vowed that we wouldn't read each other's chapters."
