Rough times for TV's Magenta

13 April 2012

TV presenter Magenta Devine has been declared bankrupt. Known for her trademark black shades and husky voice, she became a star in the 1980s on cult show Network 7 and went on to host the BBC's Rough Guide travel series.

Devine's agent said she had several projects 'in the pipeline' but declined to comment on the bankruptcy order.
