Sales rise eases pressure on Fyffes

FRUIT trader Fyffes has seen a pick-up in continental demand and prices since its profit alert in September, leading it to partially reverse the earnings downgrade by e4m (£2.8m).

The mild winter had been beneficial - an irony because it was the heatwave that caused its problems as Europeans turned to ice-cream.
