Search continues for £1.8m lottery winner

12 April 2012

The search was on today for the winner of a seven-figure Lotto jackpot who has yet to come forward.

The £1,885,518 prize remains unclaimed more than two weeks after the draw.

One lucky player, who bought a ticket in the Norwich area, matched all six numbers in the draw on Saturday June 6. The winning numbers were 6, 14, 32, 35, 41 and 42.

The ticket holder has until 5.30pm on Thursday December 3 to stake their claim before the prize money, and all the interest it has gained, is donated to the Good Causes.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, wherever they are in the country.

"This amazing jackpot could really make a huge difference in somebody's life.

"We're urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa - someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.

"We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."
