'Sex pest' Pc gets his job back

A policeman sacked for groping a female officer has won his job back - and £40,000.

Pc Philip Winter, branded a "sex pest" by colleagues, had been ordered out by a disciplinary board. But an independent tribunal reinstated him, despite upholding four findings of inappropriate behaviour which led to his dismissal. The Hounslowbased Pc was fined 13 days' pay but is to receive the £40,000 in wages he would have been paid since he was sacked in 2002.
