Snooker star denies sex attack

A world-class snooker player sexually assaulted two women he met in the VIP area of a top Soho nightclub, a court heard today.

Quinten Hann, 27, ranked in the professional game’s top 16, attacked a girl of 18 he had met at Chinawhite with her friend aged 32 after inviting them to his flat, Isleworth Crown Court was told.

The 32-year-old told police she feared the Australian was “going to kill” her as he rained blows on her head.

He kicked her repeatedly in the head, back and legs even after she slumped to the floor, prosecutor Gino Connor QC said. She suffered severe bruising and a chipped tooth.

Hann also threatened her, Isleworth Crown Court heard. He warned: “You f****** bitch, I will come and get you. I will you f*** you up. I know people
who will come and get you.”

The attack came after a barechested Hann indecently assaulted the teenager, who had rejected his advances, Mr Connor said.

When her friend told him she would have hit him if he’d done the same thing to her, he began verbally abusing the women and assaulted her.

As they tried to escape from the flat, the older woman threw a wax candle at Hann.

He denies sexual assault, assault and actual bodily harm. The trial continues.
