Some of the PM's questions

13 April 2012
VOODOO: Would you trust your wife to run the country? PM:

Fortunately, that's not a question that arises. It's well to be diplomatic when you're talking about your wife.

DOROTHY: Is it true you do a brilliant impression of John Prescott. PM:

No. I don't know about a brilliant impression. Not in John's company.

CHRISSI: As a guitar player, what is your favourite ever solo? PM:

They said, 'They might ask you this'. I spent a very large part of this morning - when I should have been doing important work - trying to figure it out. There's a great solo in George Harrison's While My Guitar Gently Weeps. I'm not sure who plays it. Also, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Freebird. That's great. There aren't that many guitar solos in songs now, are there, not really making it a centrepiece? The Darkness are doing it a bit.

MUSICO: Who would be in your all-time supergroup? PM:

I suppose it would be... I don't know. For my generation, it would be Clapton, Lennon and McCartney, Mick Jagger, Ginger Baker. Yes, it would be a big band.
