Spearmint Rhino pays out

Lap-dancing chain Spearmint Rhino has settled a case with a sacked employee who made allegations of drug use and prostitution.

The club chain paid an out-of-court settlement, in the region of £30,000, to Johnny Singh who had worked at the Colnbrook club, near Heathrow.

Mr Singh, 21, of Crawley, West Sussex, said: "Spearmint Rhino threatened to plant drugs on me. It was terrifying. But now they have had their comeuppance."
