Standard debate on Turkey EU bid

Turkey's entry into the EU will be the subject of a high-profile debate tomorrow.

Speakers for and against the motion "Let's keep Turkey out of Europe" include Dr Michael Stuermer, a foreign policy analyst speaking for the motion, who will oppose Norman Stone, professor of International Relations at Bilkent University. Writer and broadcaster Francine Stock will be in the chair.

Tickets for the Evening Standard sponsored Intelligence2 debate, starting at 6.45pm at the Royal Geographical Society, Kensington Gore, cost £20 and are available on 020 74943345.
