Stocks back in favour with US funds

INVESTORS piled another $2.5bn (£1.4bn) into US stock mutual funds for the week to Wednesday, the 16th consecutive week of positive flows, according to AMG Data Services.

AMG said $1.4bn of that was put into US domestic stocks. But small-cap growth stocks saw a $322m net outflow for the first time this year.
