Tea may hold the cure for Aids

Japanese researchers have discovered a molecule in green tea that could prevent the spread of Aids.

The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology reports that scientists from the University of Tokyo found that a compound called epigallocatechin gallate rapidly attaches itself to the same receptors through which HIV prefers to infect cells - effectively blocking its path.
