Tesco setting up shop in Bangalore

SUPERMARKETS group Tesco is moving 350 jobs from Britain to a new business support centre in Bangalore, India, over the next year.

It also said it would create 3,500 jobs in Britain, including 1,400 as part of the conversion of One Stop stores to Tesco Express, and an extra 2,000 at existing stores.
