Tess and Vernon's baby joy

Former SM:TV presenter Tess Daly has announced she is the latest celebrity mum-to-be with the news she is expecting her first child in October.

Daly, 33, who married model and T4 presenter Vernon Kay, 30, last September in Lancashire, told The Sun newspaper: "It's the best news ever.

"We are over the moon and we can't wait to start our family."

Last month Tess was chosen as the host of a celebrity version of Come Dancing, which she will present alongside showbiz veteran Bruce Forsyth.
