The myths?

The Prime Minister listed a dozen "myths" about Europe, including:

  • That the EU will be renamed the United States of Europe and motorists would be made to drive on the right.
  • That Britain will have to adopt the single currency.
  • That the Queen will be replaced as head of state.
  • That Brussels will "seize control" of North Sea oil supplies and set taxes, foreign policy and immigration controls.
