There's a zebra crossing! Escaped animal turns highway into a circus

An escaped zebra led police on a 40-minute chase along a busy highway in Atlanta.

The animal, called Lima, broke through a fence at a circus and galloped along the road with six police cars, several officers on foot and his trainers in hot pursuit. He was captured, unhurt, more than a mile away.

Passer-by Daniel Nance desctibed seeing the zebra dash past him: "All of a sudden a freaking zebra comes running down the street like a car.

"Five or six police cars were in hot pursuit. And a bunch of officers on foot. But then I got scared, thinking ... what else is loose?"
