Tourist stabbed in armed robbery

12 April 2012

A tourist has been stabbed during an armed robbery at a north London travel agency.

Police are hunting three machete-wielding masked raiders, whom they believe may be as young as 14, who burst into the Everton Forbes travel agency in Tottenham High Road yesterday and stabbed a 33-year-old tourist, thought to be from the Caribbean, after being unable to gain access to the shop's safe. The gang then fled. The man is in a stable condition in hospital.
