Traders target Online Travel

LASTMINUTE.COM'S £52m bid for Online Travel has attracted interest from traders, suggesting hopes of a rival offer.

Hargreave Hale, run by fund manager Giles Hargreave, bought 20,000 shares at 29.25p to take its holding to 1.8m.

GNI sold 175,000 shares at 28p and bought 50,000 at 29 1/2p, leaving it with 9.8m or 5.6% of the company.
