Travis drummer dragged from pool

The drummer from chart-topping band Travis has sustained serious injuries after being knocked unconscious while swimming.

Neil Primrose struck his head while relaxing in a pool in Belfort, France, forcing the cancellation of four concert dates for the band.

The musician had to be dragged from the pool by other band members and crew before he was taken by ambulance to hospital.

Early indications suggest he has sustained a fracture to one of his vertebrae and is still in hospital in Belfort undergoing tests.
