Water chiefs run their course

WATER companies have continued to set out their plans for the five years from 2005. Anglian Water owner plans up to £2.7bn capital spending. Bristol Water expects to invest £139m and to raise household bills by £11 a year.

Dee Valley plans to invest £30m and raise bills by £18 a year plus inflation. Yorkshire Water owner Kelda would raise bills by £8.20 a year and invest £1.3bn.
