'We blame the jab for our son's autism'

The parents of Robert Miles believe the MMR jab he was given at 14 months caused their son's autism.

Robert lost his sense of balance and stopped speaking after the triple vaccine in December 1989, his parents say. Within months he also started to suffer from bowel problems.

His father Richard, from west London, said: "It was as if the lights went out when he had the MMR jab. He regressed and was later diagnosed as suffering autism."

Tests revealed he had the measles virus in his blood and gut. It is claimed the strain was identical to that in the MMR jab.
