Anne Fisher, director of environmental services - No comment.

A spokesman said: "Easily accessible spots like Coppetts Road are difficult to keep clear. A council team goes there virtually every other day to clean up."

Ealing

Kevin MacDonnell, head of street care - "We have purchased a set of mobile CCTV cameras that will be used to monitor Trumpers Way and other flytipping hotspots. We are confident the cameras will act as a deterrent."

Brent

Richard Saunders, director of environmental services - "The council takes the problem of fly-tipping extremely seriously and will look at this immediately. When informed of fly-tipping on public land, we clear it away within 24 hours."

Barnet

Graham Beattie, director of environment - Not available.

A spokeswoman said: "We are securing the area to prevent further flytipping. Barnet is working hard ... using surveillance and CCTV to combat the problem."
