Youngest schoolboys face rape charges

Two of the youngest boys to be charged with rape will go on trial at the Old Bailey today.
The schoolboys were only 10 when they were accused of rape offences by an eight-year-old girl in October, last year, in Hayes, west London.
A boy of 11 and a boy of 10, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, face two charges each of rape and two charges each of attempted rape.
The trial will be before Mr Justice Saunders and lawyers will dispense with their wigs for the hearings.
