Superstar singer songwriter, mother, TV personality and fashion and beauty influencer – it’s fair to say there’s more than one reason Cheryl is a national treasure.
Since becoming a mother to baby Bear in March 2017, she’s been out of the spotlight, but now Cheryl’s back, more fabulous than ever and with a hit new single, Love Made Me Do It.
We caught up with the 35-year-old songstress at an event to launch the range of 6-in-1 clip-in hair extensions she has created in partnership with Easilocks.
“When it comes to hair I think I’m low maintenance but really I’m high maintenance. I’m one of them!” she giggles.
Cheryl’s beauty regime has been “pared back” since becoming a mother, but she still loves a blow dry. “It makes us feel good,” she says. “I feel like once my hair's done I’m good, I’m sorted. Ready to go. I always feel amazing when I get my hair done.”
When it comes to self-care, she swears by Lumity, a 2-step supplement full of vitamins, minerals, omega-3 fatty acids and amino acids. “I take three pills at night, three in the morning. It’s everything you need as a woman. It helped my hair grow back after I had the baby. It’s a very powerful supplement.”
Known for her ambitious and immaculate dance routines, it’s perhaps no surprise Cheryl’s set to be judge on the BBC’s Greatest Dancer show next year. Her signature dance floor move? “The bum bounce from Beyoncé’s Crazy in Love!”
When it comes to a duet, Cheryl, who attended Prince Charles’ 70th birthday celebrations earlier this year, would like to team up with Prince Harry. “He’s got great taste in music, he loves rap music, and he’s fun,” she says. “He’s not afraid to just be. We all know his antics I think he’d be fun!”
