HOW TO APPLY NUDE MAKE-UP

By Jamie Coombes, National Make-up Artist for Dior

Using a foundation brush, apply Diorskin Nude liquid foundation only to areas of concern such as high-colour areas. Use lightly around the eyes, concentrating on the shaded areas, as this will instantly lift the face and look natural. Foundation should be light in texture and a perfect match to your skin tone.

If you need greater coverage, mix a small amount of Diorskin Nude Natural Glow mineralised powder make-up with the fluid. Layer blush on to the apples of your cheeks; try Diorblush in Lucky Pink.

Dress the eyes with Diorshow Iconic mascara first to show the shape of the eye and help you apply eyeshadow. Use Dior 5-Colour Eyeshadow Compact in Elegante: apply the lightest shade on the brow arch; the medium shade on the lid; and the deepest shade along the lash line.

Finish your look with a glossy lipstick such as Dior Addict High Shine in Couture Pink. Apply with your finger like a lip balm.

The promise

The process After a stressful few weeks at work and at home (in the run-up to a move) - not to mention the vicious cold - my skin was in great need of tender care. Being a big fan of Kérastase hair products, I was excited at the prospect of their skincare. I talked to my therapist Louise about my skin's needs and she mixed up fresh a number of deliciously soothing ingredients specifically to revive my dull complexion. The facial included a gentle hibiscus peel, an 'immuniste elixir' to firm and revitalise, and a 'rice lift' to smooth out the fine lines around my eyes.

The verdict My skin immediately looked brighter and my face more relaxed. I left with a prescription to carry on the good work at home. Kéraskin had lived up to expectations.
