Beyoncé has posted another message on Instagram encouraging her fans to actively pursue justice for George Floyd and the other victims of racist violence.

Following the announcement that all four of the officers involved in the murder of George Floyd have been charged, Beyoncé shared a photo of Minneapolis, Minnesota, where Floyd was killed on May 25.

“The world came together for George Floyd,” the singer wrote. “We know there is a long road ahead. Let’s remain aligned and focused in our call for real justice.”

Beyoncé’s message seemed to not only directly call for justice for Floyd, but also for the continued pursuit of reform that the Black Lives Matter protestors across the country (and now around the world) have been demanding.

She and her husband, Jay-Z, have been vocal about Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. Last weekend Jay-Z spoke to Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota over the phone, and he also took out a full-page ad in multiple newspapers dedicated to Floyd.

Beyoncé also shared a more personal message to Instagram last week. “We need justice for George Floyd,” she began in her video.

“We all witnessed his murder in broad daylight. We’re broken and we’re disgusted. We cannot normalize this pain. I’m not only speaking to people of color; if you’re white, black, brown or anything in between, I’m sure you feel hopeless by the racism going on in America right now,” Beyoncé continued, calling for all Americans to unite.

“No more senseless killings of human beings. No more seeing people of color as less than human. We can no longer look away. George is all of our family in humanity. He’s our family because he’s a fellow American,” she said.

“There have been too many times that we’ve seen these violent killings and no consequences. Yes, someone has been charged, but justice is far from being achieved. Please sign the petition and continue to pray for peace and compassion and healing for our country,” Beyoncé concluded, linking to several petitions from multiple civil rights organizations demanding justice for Floyd, Breonna Taylor and other black lives lost to police brutality fueled by racial prejudice.
