Katy Perry appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres show and discussed her relationship with Orlando Bloom as well as her years-long public feud with Taylor Swift.

Clad in a lavender puff sleeve jacket with crystal on the collar and a matching silver sequined beret, she said her look was inspired by Shelly Long’s character in the 1989 cult classic movie Troop Beverly Hills. She also showed off her extravagant diamond engagement ring.

The Fireworks singer talked to Ellen about making amends with Taylor after years of feuding publicly.

She called their longtime feud “just a misunderstanding” and said, “We have such big groups of people that want to follow us and so they kind of started turning against each other... we made amends and I’m all about redemption and forgiveness and setting an example for those younger people.”

After Katy sent a “literal olive branch to her tour,” they started talking again. “We have so much in common. There’s probably only ten people in the world that have the same things in common,” she told the talk show host. “It’s not as easy as it seems sometimes,” she said about fame.

She also opened up about her relationship with fiancé Orlando Bloom and his son, 8-year-old Flynn.

The popstar discussed a game she played on a previous Ellen show where she had to choose a dream man - it was a tie between Prince Harry and Leonardo DiCaprio.

“I ended up with one of Leo’s best friends who also has an English accent so it feels like I got the best of both worlds,” she said, calling him “the kindest man I’ve ever met.”

She goes on to say that their love language is “all things spiritual and working out.”

She also talked about helping to raise Orlando's son Flynn, who he had with first partner Miranda Kerr. "I guess this is adulting - that’s why I still dress like a child!" she joked.
