A fashion week devoted entirely to British menswear hit London last week with great fanfare. Prince Charles kicked things off with a reception at St James’s Palace.

A long-time supporter of the British wool industry, he found himself holding court with the great and good of British fashion, plus a few celebrity champions, including Davids Furnish and Walliams. Tom Ford and Tommy Hilfiger dropped in to host their own parties. Hilfiger’s was a hot dog-fuelled disco in a Mayfair club and Ford’s a Friday night dinner at Richard Caring’s 34 Restaurant.
