ES Magazine wins National Magazine of the year

ES Magazine triumphed last night at the prestigious News Awards 2019, taking home the coveted National Supplement/Magazine of the year award.

At the event, which was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in West London, the magazine beat off extremely stiff competition from the Sunday Telegraph's Stella, the Observer's New Review, the Guardian's Feast, the Telegraph's Saturday magazine and the Sunday Times Magazine.

Judges praised ES Magazine, which is distributed with the Evening Standard every Thursday and Friday, for its “stimulating innovation” and “superb quality,” adding: “To produce a magazine of this standard is a real feat.”

Editor-in-chief Laura Weir praised the “creativity of Londoners, which never fails to inspire us.”
