Chiselled cheekbones and built bodies seem to be the order of the season

We can name a number of upcoming female models at the drop of a hat - Paloma Elsesser, Adut Akech and Kaia Gerber.

But when it comes to male models, well-known names are few and far between - but that's not to say there aren't a whole host of handsome men who should be on your radar.

From Instagram sensations to men with famous siblings - these male models are quickly taking over the fashion industry (and becoming heartthrobs along the way).

So as London Fashion Week Men's autumn/winter 2020 hits the capital this weekend, here's our edit of the men you should be following on Instagram, just in time for catwalk season.

1. Lucky Blue Smith - @luckybsmith

Lucky Blue Smith was set for stardom when he was signed to an international modelling agency at just 12-years-old.

Since then he has taken Instagram and the industry by storm thanks to his angelic features and signature platinum blonde hair.

Now at just 21-years-old the model boasts three million followers and has fronted everything from Versace campaigns to Vogue covers.

In 2017 he also welcomed his first child with model girlfriend Stormi Bree and his Instagram snaps with baby Gravity will melt your heart.

2. Neels Visser - @neels

Neels Visser has become the heartthrob to many, winning over a legion of fans with his incredible cheekbones.

The teen began his career on Vine, quickly progressing into modelling, strutting his stuff for Dolce & Gabbana.

When he's not on the catwalk he's sat front row posting plenty of Instagram pics to his 2.4 million followers. Well worth a follow.

3. Jordan Barrett - @Iblamejordan

The Australian model hit headlines a few years ago due to his striking resemblance to a Ken Doll and has since gone on to become a recognisable face in the fashion industry.

Other accolades include being named The World’s Hottest Male Model at the coveted New York Fashion Week Media Awards in 2017, and starring on the cover of Vogue with Bella Hadid.

4. Reece King - @reeceking_

Reece King hasn't been on the scene long but already has over half a million followers on social media.

The Instagram sensation-turned-model has also already bagged himself several campaigns including Kurt Geiger, Tommy Hilfiger and Bershka. Definitely one to watch this year.

5. Kit Butler - @kitbutlerr

At just 20, Kit is taking the fashion industry by storm.

With his effortless good looks it's no surprise that he has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world, including Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger, Balmain, Ralph Lauren and Armani. He is set to go from strength to strength in 2020.

6. Matthew Noszka - @matthew_noszka

The construction worker was discovered on Instagram in 2015 and since then his career has skyrocketed.

With a cool one million Instagram followers, starring in campaigns alongside Rihanna and Gigi Hadid and walking catwalk shows for the likes of Philip Plein, Moschino and Balmain x H&M, his Instagram account is one to check out.

7. Jon Kortajarena - @kortajarenajon

You probably recognise the face of this 34-year-old Spaniard. He's fronted campaigns for high street stores including H&M and Zara, and also luxury brands like Armani, Versace and Tom Ford.

Jon's face is everywhere - it's easy to see why he has been named one of the world's most successful male models.

8. Adrien Sahores - @sahoresadrien

When Hedi Slimane joined Dior in 2000, he was largely credited with elevating the profiles of various male models and 29-year-old Sahores was one of those who benefited from Slimane's focus on male supermodels, and all these years later, the French model is still going.

He made headlines in 2017 for embracing his uni-brow as part of a Levi's campaign.

9. Luka Sabbat - @lukasabbat

Luke Sabbat, with his signature dreadlocks, has become a very cool addition to the fashion industry in recent years.

Modelling for popular streetwear brands including Yeezy, Champion and Adidas, he has also become a regular in Dolce & Gabbana campaigns. Put simply, he's a man to watch.

His Instagram is also filled with some of the hottest street style looks you'll ever see.

10. Diego Barrueco - @diegobarrueco

Born in Spain, the 28-year-old was scouted on Tumblr and moved to London in 2013 to pursue his modelling career.

Since then, he has become a recognisable face in the industry and is one to keep your eyes on.

11. Alton Mason - @altonmason

Alton made his fashion debut at Kanye West's Yeezy Season 3 show whilst studying dance and acting in Los Angeles.

However, it was his catwalk debut at Gucci's AW17 show that really put him on the map, going on to model for Fenty x Puma, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, and most recently, Chanel's Métiers d’Art Show.

Expect to see a lot of him on the 2020 catwalks. Plus, his Instagram is filled with inimitable street style looks that will make you want to click to follow button ASAP.

12. Terence Telle - @terencetelle

Terence has been climbing the catwalks over the past few years, from Versace to Etro and Armani, plus he's has starred in several Tommy Hilfiger campaigns.

The French national is also gaining a name for himself, recently competing in the French version of Strictly Come Dancing, Danse Avec Les Stars.

13. River Viiperi - @riverviiperi

It was perhaps his ex-girlfriend Paris Hilton who put 28-year-old Ibiza-native Viiperi on the modelling map.

But once the pair called time on their burgeoning relationship in 2014, Viiperi took the fashion industry by storm, walking for the likes of Moschino and Emporio Armani last season.

14. Broderick Hunter - @broderickhunter

Perhaps you recognise him from Ciara's Sorry video or from his role as Felix on HBO’s Insecure, or perhaps as the face of Ralph Lauren, but either way, 29-year-old Hunter is one you really ought to get following.

He was initially tipped to become big news in the basketball world, but decided to instead move to Miami, aged 19, and pursue modelling. And we thank our lucky stars he did.

15. Sean O'Pry - @seanopry55

If his name doesn't ring a bell, you may recognise O'Pry from Taylor Swift's Blank Space video, where he played her ill-fated love interest, but there's more to this model than just a pretty face.

After the Georgia-native was scouted on MySpace profile in his late teens, he rapidly went on to be named one Forbes' highest-paid male models, and has since worked for the likes of Calvin Klein, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors.

But it's not just his spine-tingling good looks which set him apart, his Instagram is also populated with pictures of his dog who is - almost - as dashing as the man himself.

16. Francisco Lachowski - @chico_lachowski

Hailing from Brazil, 28-year-old Lachowski got his modelling break in 2008 and has since fronted campaigns for the likes of Balmain, Etro, Tommy Hilfiger and Jean Paul Gaultier.

He now has a wife (who is conveniently also a model) and two young genetically-blessed children, whom he regularly shares snaps of.
