Tomorrow the Cannes Film Festival will come to a close, and last night some of the biggest names in film and fashion descended on the coastal town to send the season out with a bang.

Attending the 26th annual amfAR Gala, stars shimmered on the French Riviera in a technicolour smorgasboard of sequins, sass and lashing of tulle.

Leading the best dressed was Kendall Jenner, who wore a hot pink tiered tulle gown from the recently announced Giambattista Valli x H&M collection, which is set to hit stores on May 25.

The dress comes with a leg-exposing high-low hem and long train that can be detached to reveal a dancefloor-ready mini. Fingers on the buzzers people, this one’s bound to fly off the shelves.

Also bringing some Big Dress Energy to the red carpet was Dua Lipa, who wore a voluminous one-shouldered red gown by Valentino Haute Couture.

Never one to shy from a powerful look, the British singer’s tiered, thigh-split dress was alive with feather embellishment and Hotter than Hell.

Also deserving of mention was Canadian actress Nina Dobrev, who looked devastatingly chic in an oh-so-Audrey Hepburn midnight blue number from Christian Dior.

The gown, constructed from a beautiful textured fabric, featured an elegant Bardot neckline, nipped in waist and that ever-popular thigh split. Accessorised with simple hair, classic Messika diamonds and a red lip, Dobrev oozed old school Hollywood.

Karolina Kurkova rocked a similarly understated look in an elegant off-the-shoulder column dress by Uruguayan designer Gabriela Hearst.

When it came to accessorising the pearl-embellished, ankle-length satin dress, the former Victoria's Secret model kept things simple with barely-there gold sandals and beachy hair and makeup. Dreamy.
