DKNY has a beano with stripes at New York Fashion Week

Dennis the Menace-style stripes, monochrome panelling, graphic prints and above all, coats, were mainstays of Donna Karan's collection for New York Fashion Week.

In a palette of red, burnt orange and raspberry toning with camel, grey and black, the autumn/winter 2011 DKNY styles shown last
night seemed just right for the sub-zero temperatures now gripping the Big Apple.

Tweed, wool and fake fur all played their parts for the coats, while a well-rounded selection of fine-knit sweaters, plaid skirts and narrow-cut jeans will keep the loyal customer base happy.
