Fashion label E. Tautz, renowned for it's modern take on relaxed suiting, presented contemporary tailoring at its finest with covetable coats, razor sharp jackets and plush knitwear.

Inspired by Douglas Dunn's 1969 collection of Terry Street poems and the iconic images of pioneering photographer John Bulmer, Grant sought to channel the spirit of the 1960's working classes in the North of England, where the designer spent much of his childhood.

Classic hero items, such as cosy-looking cable-knit roll necks, wide-leg slacks, sweeping overcoats and zip bomber jackets, were given a luxurious overhaul in cashmere, silk jacquard and boucle tweed. A host of thickly quilted parkas and fair isle knits also proved a highlight in the collection which featured sombre hues of grey, black and navy.

Since it's relaunch in 2009, Grant has been busy reviving the fortunes of the long-forgotten heritage tailoring brand, which was originally established in 1867 and counted Winston Churchill amongst it's clientele. Now, thanks to Grant's commitment to creating clothes that are cutting edge yet highly wearable, E. Tautz stands as a popular choice amongst the capital's most discerning dressers who desire a contemporary touch to their formalwear. The label also debuted it's first womenswear collection in 2013.

Design houses Burberry and Paul Smith are among the other brands showcasing collections today. This afternoon, all eyes will be on John Galliano who makes a return to the fashion world with his debut Haute Couture collection for Maison Martin Margiela in London.
