With New York Fashion Week just weeks away, it has been confirmed that Eva Longoria will be staging her very first runway at the prestigious showcase.
An affordable collection, the 42-year-old star will be presenting her eponymous line as part of Kia Style360's roster.
According to WWD, the show will be live-streamed on Facebook while broadcasting 360-degrees in virtual reality.
Not her first foray into the fashion industry, Longoria last year teamed up with US retailer The Limited and designed two collections before the company shut down seven months ago and closed all 250 stores.
Taking her namesake collection online, September's show will mark her first official runway.
In time in which the line between celebrity and fashion designer become all the more blurred - with Kanye West and Serena Williams having hosted shows on the New York schedule - Longoria will no doubt be hoping to emulate the success of her close friend and celebrity-turned-NYFW stalwart Victoria Beckham.

A loyally devoted fan of Beckham's designs, Longoria is regularly photographed in her friend's pieces on red carpets globally.
It is yet to be seen whether Beckham will repay the gesture and be spotted wearing Longoria's affordable line, although it is likely she will be sitting front row as the actress makes her show debut.
