TODAY

POP goes…

Vogue. The latest issue of everyone’s favourite style bible lands on news shelves today and in honour of the imminent party season, it’s something of a celebration. Pop, be it in art, music or, as the cover lines suggest, corn form is this December issue’s great occupation. Oh, and the gorgeous Natalia features on the cover. See you in the queue.

TOMORROW

Top scent

There’s more to Topman than skinny ties and sweatshirts, it’s a fragrance emporium too. At least, that’s the dream. One year after taking its first foray into scent and grooming, today Topman launches DISTIL, a luxury fragrance created by “nose” Azzi Glasser. The scent combines bursts of juniper, petit grain, blood orange and ginger stem and comes elegantly packaged in a streamlined bottle. (£32, Topman.co.uk)

WEDNESDAY

We heart Markus

Markus Lupfer is no newcomer to the sphere of British fashion, yet his joyful approach to knitwear is all we can talk about this winter. Kudos to Whistles for sharing the Lupfer love early. The store’s first collaboration with the designer — available from today — features supersoft knits, jovial prints and delicious-looking heart-print pyjamas. (gloves, £45, whistles.co.uk)

THURSDAY

Battersea dogs

The city’s most stylish canines are in for a treat of the non-bone variety this evening as Battersea Dogs (& Cats) Home stages its Collars and Coats gala. Now in its fourth year, the event will include an unforgettable “dogwalk” show which is set to rival anything seen at London Fashion Week. Look out for dog-friendly designs by Jenny Packham (illustrated), Henry Holland and Stella McCartney. You’d be barking to miss this. (collarsand coats. org.uk)

FRIDAY

Free Living

The US continues its virtual attack on our high street this week with the launch of ethical super-brand Free People. The product, which is adored by vegan leather lovers across the Pond, joins J Crew and Anthropologie on the list of great US exports. Visit freepeople.co.uk from today for organic denim and ethically sourced knits.
