TONIGHT

Shop girl

With London Fashion Week in full swing, the style pack are certainly not short of dates for the diary. But even the busiest fashion buff wouldn’t pass up the chance to head to Calvin Klein’s Regent Street flagship this evening, where face of the brand Rita Ora is due to perform an acoustic performance. Style plate Pixie Geldof will also be joining Ora on the decks. Not on the list? Don’t worry — head to Twitter to find out how to win tickets. (twitter.com/calvinklein)

TUESDAY

Not-so-average Joe

There are times when you just want jeans to be jeans, not printed, fluoro, spray-on excuses for denim. That’s when it’s best to consult Joe. Hailed as the US equivalent of our beloved J Brand, Joe’s Jeans features, quite simply, a range of jeans in classic vintage blue washes that come in one standard tapered straight leg shape. It’s denim, without the BS. (£185, liberty.co.uk)

WEDNESDAY

Molto Milano

Milan Fashion Week begins today and with shows including Alberta Ferretti and Just Cavalli, it promises to be a flying start. Gucci is one of the first to take to the catwalk and with more flamenco ruffles and thigh-skimming hemlines than you can shake a stick at in September’s spring/summer 13 offering, we’re hoping for the same signature Milanese flourish from today’s A/W show.

THURSDAY

Very selective

Fearne Cotton has been hard at work on her 10th collection for very.co.uk and she has also brought a new employee into the fold. Rock baby Tali Lennox, daughter of Annie, is the new face of the range, which touches down online today, after she was personally selected by Cotton to be the brand ambassador. Judging by these shots, we can see why. (Prices from £12, very.co.uk)

FRIDAY

Beside the seaside

With a focus on Sixties Mod culture, Hush Puppies’ new collaboration with Hemingway is about as British as they come. So where better to shoot the campaign than Margate, at the iconic Dreamland amusement park? Revered photographer Dean Chalkley chose the seaside town as the perfect backdrop to shoot the collection, which features stacked sole bowling shoes and tasselled loafers in ice cream shades. Pass the fish ’n’ chips. (From £110, hushpuppies.com)
