MONDAY

Trunk sale

What do you get when you cross an elephant with Ryan McGinley? Edun’s latest campaign, of course. The renowned New York photographer has shot the ethical brand’s new offering with one very special new face in the world of modelling — Susie the Elephant. The campaign also goes hand in hand — or should that be trunk to trunk? — with a range of WildAid charity T-shirts, which go on sale today. (£48, edun.com)

TUESDAY

Dress down

Oscar de la Renta isn’t normally a name you’d associate with bargains. That was until he unveiled his collection for The Outnet. Launching today on the cut-cost site, the 24-piece line is true to the designer’s signature style, with figure-hugging shifts, printed pencil skirts and fluid silk blouses, but at a tenth of the price. (From £245 theoutnet.com)

WEDNESDAY

White collar

Is there anything more satisfyingly useful in life than a clean, crisp white shirt? Carolina Herrera certainly seems to think not, as she launches her White Shirt range for the CH collection today. Eight styles plus one puritanical piece of cloth equals a thousand uses. (From £145, 020 7581 3031)

THURSDAY

A girl’s best friend

1932 was the year Coco Chanel unveiled her first fine jewellery collection for the Parisian fashion house. But while our day-to-day lives don’t involve dripping in Chanel diamonds, you can decorate your décolletage with the fashion house’s new Les Exclusifs 1932 fragrance — a richly luxurious jasmine, vetiver and iris-laden scent created in homage to the founding line. (£110, 020 7493 3836)

FRIDAY

Fairy steps

Disney is certainly not short of famous footwear. But this is the first time the fashion pack will be getting as starry-eyed as eight-year-olds watching Cinderella go to the ball. Nicholas Kirkwood has stepped up to create shoes for the new film, Oz: The Great and Powerful, to ensure that Michelle Williams (aka, Glinda the good witch), Rachel Weisz (Evanora) and Mila Kunis (Theodora) are well shod. The designer has also added his first menswear creation to the fold for the almighty Oz himself, James Franco. Walk in their footsteps by heading down to Selfridges, available exclusively from today. (£965, Selfridges.com)
