Haute Couture Fashion Week street style SS17: the best guest looks in Paris

From fashion editors to street style stars, we round up the best dressed guests

With Parisian street style stars known for their sleek modern sophistication, the suggestion that a week of couture shows may escalate even their own standards would perhaps seem obvious.

This week, however, the streets of Paris seem to have taken influence from the London style scene with trainers, baseball caps and relaxed jeans dominating the front row and oversized biker, puffer and bomber jackets thrown over even the most polished outfit.

One of our favourite looks from outside the shows this week came from Alexandra Sergienko, who paired a knee-length ruby red sequinned dress with green Vetements ankle boots and a bomber jacket draped loosely over her shoulders.

Another look that was a welcome break from the sleek, streamlined look often favoured by couture show-goers came from London-based fashion blogger Camille Charrière, whose exquisite Marques Almeida white puffer jacket was fastened with navy gingham ribbon.

Similarly to the street style in London during the menswear showcase earlier this month, red was a popular colour accent.
